Modern Eye Care Centre for Prevention of Blindness, is a comprehensive eye health facility. The Institute offers comprehensive patient care, sight enhancement and rehabilitation services and high-impact rural eye health programs. It also pursues cutting-edge research and offers training in human resources for all levels of ophthalmic personnel.

- Registration time: 7:30AM to 3:30 PM
- Patients are treated directly as first come first serve basis.
- Patients can seek appointment as well
- OPD is open in all working days
- Emergency service is also available on non working days.
- Patients are requested to bring one attendant
- Complete service will usually take 2-3 hours. It may take longer time if any special investigation is advised.

IN PATIENTS
IPD is for the patients who need surgeries and institutional care. In a day approximately 80 patients are operated here. Now a days eye surgeries are mostly Day care procedures. That means there is no need to stay overnight unless instructed by doctor for certain indications. Patients are usually admitted in the morning, surgeries are usually over by mid day and they are discharged after few hours. Some patients require staying longer in hospital for some clinical indications. Modern Eye Care always tries to maintain a safe and hygienic facility for patients. Our attempt is to make the stay comfortable and give an overall soothing experience.
- Admission starts from 8:00AM
- Discharge commences for Day care patients from 4:00PM and for other cases it starts from 9:00AM
- Visiting hour for admitted patients starts from 11:00AM to 12:00PM and 5 PM to 6 PM
